Why I Built My Golf Mobility Program
I started in Central London teaching 1:1s. Most of my clients were tired, office-working dads — commuting long hours, running on coffee, and trying to carve out a few hours for themselves at the weekend to play the sport they love.
They wanted to play awesome golf without the consequences later — no back pain Monday morning, no limping into work, no worrying about whether their body could keep up as they got older.
But every year, the same thing crept in…
Their toes felt further away every time they stretched.
Their swing felt tighter even though they were “still fit.”
They were fed up with playing through stiffness, then paying for it the next day.
What frustrated me most?Watching good men waste time and money on gym routines and yoga classes that didn’t fix the problem. Most yoga classes are full of women and feel unwelcoming for men — despite yoga being invented by men, for men, centuries ago. The style taught today often skips the strength-based mobility work golfers actually need.
I built my program for them — busy golfers over 40 who want a body that can still move like it’s 25, in just 10 minutes a day, so they can enjoy every round now and for decades to come.
Your Swing’s Not Rusty. Your Joints Are
Being strong doesn’t mean your joints move well. In fact, most gym routines shorten your range and build tension — and that tension shows up when you try to rotate. Mobility isn’t about being bendy — it’s about moving through your full range with strength and control.
If you don’t train that, your joints stiffen, your rotation shrinks, and your game pays the price.

Static stretching won’t reverse hours of desk time, car seats, or flights. Worse, it won’t teach your nervous system to actually use the new range. What you need is active, strength-based stretching — the kind that stabilises your joints as you move them.
